Dr Patricia Cucci, a native of Clifton, is a board certified eye care physician and surgeon. She completed her internship at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and served her ophthalmology residency at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC. Dr Cucci received her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry (UMDNJ) now known as Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. She was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha honor society as well as receiving numerous awards in recognition of her skills and scholastic achievement. She was the recipient of the ET Viett Academic Scholarship, the Gertrude Ash Memorial Scholarship as the top female graduate, and the dean’s Achievement Award for the top class rank. Dr Cucci is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Seton Hall University with a degree in Biology. A Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and The National Board of Medical Examiners, Dr Cucci is licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey and New York. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In addition to providing comprehensive eye care, Dr Cucci, has a special interest in small incision cataract surgery and laser cataract surgery.
When she is not in the office, Dr Cucci spends time volunteering at her sons’ schools and attending their sports and band activities. Her interests include photography, travel and cooking. She also raises money for her favorite charity, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
